For the Lack of a Better Title

I have been listening to 2 songs none stop for the past day. You wanna know what they are? Well I’m going to tell you. It’s The Killers – All These Things That I’ve Done and My Chemical Romance – Helen. I love these 2 songs. Mike doesn’t like them but poo on him. Speaking of that cheeky monkey (that’s what I call him, not to his face cause he would think I was crazy calling him something like that but that’s what he is) he was originally off today then Monday they told him he would have to work 10 to 2 and then last night they told him not to worry about coming in today. So I guess his schedule day off is still on.

My head is really hurting right now. I think it might be my sinuses messing with me.

Society Sucks Reason #2: Hollywood Remakes Everything: Hollywood has to go and ruin everything by remaking every old tv show and movie that ever was. You can not capture the greatness and fun of the originals so please stop trying. Have you learned nothing from the remake of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre? You took one of the greatest horror movies of all time and turned it into a big steamy pile of dog shit! I have a suggestion. This is just me brainstorming but here it goes, are you ready for this. Why don’t you come up with your OWN ideas!

I hope you feel better, and have happy day with Mike on his day off! Work gets in the way of everything, don’t you think??

I, presonally, didn’t think the new remake of TCM was horrible, but I think the first was by far, a LOT greater. That whole hook scene just did it for me, lol. The freezer scene was also kick ass! See, the remake was so ‘not thrilling’ that I don’t remember any great scenes from it.

I also agree, why does Hollywood feel the need to recreate movies? Just because we have better effects, sound, and overall picture quality doesn’t mean that making a remake will be a lot better quality and better in general than the original. By making a remake, it sometimes ruins a person’s love for the original also.

I know, this has nothing to do with movies, but the show The Golden Girls (my favorite tv show) was sort of ruined by it’s remake The Golden Palace. Why, oh why, does Hollywood feel the need to keep a show on for years at a time, or remake shows that have ended? I think Hollywood needs a reality check.
