*UPDATE* In Upshur County West Virginia (about 45 minute drive from here) there was a Mine Blast and 13 miners are trap. Coal mining isn’t as big as it once was in my great state but there are still quit a few mines still opened around here and many of our families are or once was miners. Our thoughts and prayers go out to them and their families. God willing they will be able to get all 13 out safe and sound. *END UPDATE*
Raven goes back to school tomorrow and Mike has today and tomorrow off! I don’t know what we are going to do but we need to go grocery shopping and I need to take down the outside Christmas decorations. I all ready took down the tree and all the other inside decorations on Wednesday. I usually leave all that stuff up until the New Years but for some reason the mood struck me to take it down early.
It has been unseasonably warm this past month. And instead of snow we have gotten rain. Tons of it. So much of the wet stuff that I thought for sure we would have another flood. But I was wrong. It has been flooding our basement though and we have to keep plugging the pump in to shot all that water out or it will reach the water heater and Mike will have to drag is butt downstairs and try to get the damn thing lit again.
I have been pondering over the idea of making a Valentine’s Day layout. Something I may or may not do.
