Heath Ledger is now an American historian! While talking to Australian paper The Herald Sun he was quoted as saying
“Personally, I don’t think the movie is [controversial] but I think maybe the Mormons in Utah do. I think it’s hilarious and very immature of a society,†Ledger said in The Herald Sun. “I heard a while ago that West Virginia was going to ban it but that’s a state that was lynching people only 25 years ago so that’s to be expected.â€
Yeah we lynch people every weekend. Hell since we don’t have those fancy talking boxes y’all call the TV what else are we going to do for entertainment besides fucking our cousins?
I have lived in West Virginia all my life (expect for 6 years when I lived in Ohio but still came back to WV in the summer) and I will be 26 this year and there has not been any fucking lynching! Yes some people may have been killed or beating badly in my great state because of their race or sexual preference but that happens more in other states then in WV. In July, 2000, a black, gay man named JR Warren was beaten to death in West Virginia by three men but I would hardly call that a lynching and crimes of that nature have taken place in many other states. A hate crime yes but not a lynching. And why is it wrong to say anything against Gays but it’s open season on West Virginians? And lay off the Utah theater owner. It’s his fucking theater if he doesn’t want to show the damn movie then he doesn’t have to. If people can be gay if they want (not that there’s anything wrong with that) then some people can choose not to support it. Stop the fucking double standards!

Hi 🙂 Just surfed in from BE, so I thought I’d say hello. Love your Blues Brothers skin! One of the bestest movies ever. 🙂

Wow. And I used to like Heath Ledger. All his brains cells must have been sucked out by all those video cameras. Someone should do a study.
