Thank God there are still some celebrities that seem to have a good head on their shoulders.
During an interview Harrison Ford said:
I grew up in the mid-west. You don’t ask what a person’s religion is, you don’t ask what their politics are, you don’t ask how much money they make and I pretty much still have that attitude about it. It’s none of anybody’s business and I don’t advantage anyone by telling them what my personal politics are… The arguments are much too subtle to be entered in that way, to my mind. There are things that I think are happening in the world that are egregious mistakes but I’m only operating out of my own box and I don’t have any expertise. I’m a voter… I have one vote, that’s all I should have.”
I don’t give a rats ass what side of the political scale celebrities are on and I really wish they would keep their mouths closed about politics and religion. There job is being an actor, entertaining the public. Not pushing their own agenda. Didn’t their mothers every teach them that you don’t talk about Politics or Religion cause you don’t know who you might offend? Then they get all mad cause they stated their opinion and pissed off people so now their “black listed”. These types of celebrities need to take a cue from Harrison Ford and shut up!

February 14, 2006 at 9:59 pmI used to like him until he suffered a case of ‘leave my wife and kids cause I’m getting the eye from a younger chick-itis’ shortly after turning 60. And for Ally McBeal’s Calista Flockhart? Please!

February 18, 2006 at 1:44 amI agree Hollywood needs to stop the political activism. Not just because they are leftist and I’m not either. I just can’t stand sitting down to watch a movie while some director tries to get a point across. “Brokeback Mountain” for example. They except the award and say “For the power to change the way America thinks.” Its not their business to change the way I think, its to entertain me.

I wish I never heard that. I really respected Harrison Ford. He reminded me of John Wayne. Are you sure its true? *lie to me*
