It seems as if one philly cheesesteak joint has an English Only ordering policy and it has gotten some people’s panties in a bunch. What is the big deal? If they are going to live in this country then they should speak our language. It’s that simple. Anywhere else in this world you have to know how to speak the native language in order to live, work, hell even visit. Expect for in American where some assholes decided that we should accommodate immigrants. This is not Mexico, majority of people living in America speak English and majority rules right. Well it seems as majority doesn’t anymore. There are a lot of Italians and Japanese here in my part of West Virginia and they all speak English well enough to understand them. They learned it when they came here LEGALY! What is so wrong with expecting people to speak English in American? I wouldn’t go to Japan without knowing how to speak Japanese well enough to be able to function over there. So why should anyone expect any less in America?

June 12, 2006 at 8:42 amThat’s because liberals don’t want America to be America anymore. They want it the whole world to be one great big nation.

June 13, 2006 at 12:59 pmI agree with the sign. If you’re in a country then you should be able to speak the language there. The last time I checked ours was English. Why would you order in a different language then what the person you were ordering from was speaking anyways? Not everyone is bilingual,,idiots.

June 23, 2006 at 11:35 amEYeyey, ppl please. I’m a guy from sweden, but living in Netherlands. Just wondering why americans always have to be so damn aggressive? Can’t you just let ppl order in what language they want? You’ll get it, beleive me. I’ve been living in different countries most of my life, and you always get aroundeasily if you’re willing to be openminded. Do you guys wanna forbid ppl to speak other languages than english now? Wel… that would be classical american style.
