Last night while we watched The Garbage Pail Kids Movie we decided that we would go to the new movie theater that they opened up at the mall and see Disney’s & Pixar’s Cars. We would get up early, go out to Denny’s to eat breakfast, do some browsing through the stores and then see the movie. So I thought I would just wait and Raven could take a bath in the morning. She spent the weekend playing in the grass and dirt with puppies and was in need of a bath. I washed the towels last night but it was so hot and humid and I didn’t want to turn on the dryer so I thought I would just leave them in the washing machine until morning. Well, I forgot all about drying them and didn’t have any dry towels at all for Raven to use this morning. So I scrambled around the house to find something, anything to dry her off with. My solution to this little problem was solved when I remembered the extra sheets we have for our beds. When Raven saw me carrying the sheet up the stairs she was a little more then curious.
Raven: What is the sheet for?
Me: For today this isn’t a sheet, it’s a towel.
Raven: What?
Me: All the towels are wet, they won’t be dried in time so you are using this sheet as a towel.
Raven: Are you serious?
Me: Yes
Raven: Umm, Ok
(Pause)
Raven: Are you seriously going to have me dry off with that?
Me: It’s no big deal, you can use it as a towel for today.
Raven: Seriously? Mommy, are you teasing?
Me: No, I’m not.
Raven: Ok, whatever
The movie was really good and Mike and I have all ready been informed that we are going to buy it when it comes out on DVD.
