What’s The Fuse With Gay Marriage?

This issue has me leaning towards *dare I say it* the left. I am not against Gay marriages. Not one bit. I still think it’s a sin *cause it says so in The Bible* but it also states that some normal human emotions *lust, greed, jealousy* are sin also. And God knows I lust over Ewan McGregor on a daily basis. I don’t think I am going to go to hell cause of it just like I don’t think homosexuals will go to hell just for being gay. And I really don’t see all the fuse about allowing gays to marry. I don’t think it will ruin the sanctity of marriage. Adulterers, addiction to pornography, those are the types of things that will ruin the sanctity of marriage. I just think our concern needs to be focused on the things that will send our country straight down the shitter like all the sexual predators. We need to be more worried about protecting the children from those evil fuckers then about two grown adults wanting to get married.

Our government has it’s priorities screwed up.

I personally do not see anything wrong with it.. and maybe I’m a bit biased because of my mother.. but either way. People marry because they love one another, want to spend the rest of their life with one another.. marrying also gives you tax breaks and allows certain insurance coverages too (not that I’d marry just for that either way lol). I feel if two people want to commit to one another like heterosexuals, they should have that right.

Many of us (Christians and nonchristians alike) sin, I’m not sure where homosexuality became the worst sin.. but I agree that people should be worrying about protecting our youth from predators, seeing they’re educated and keeping them off the streets/into drugs and the like. We should also be making our economy a priority over “gay marriage”.. it’s just a shame, really.

I have nothing against it. I have friends and family who are gay and have been in a serious relationship for 9 years(neither has ever cheated)and I know a guy who got married and had an affair a week later. It’s people like him who are degradeing the idea of marriage, not couple who love each other and want to spend their lives together.
