I’m In Love!

I am completely in love with the dress and shoes that I bought for my sister in laws wedding!

A couple of weeks ago I went to Fashion Bug and picked out a ho hum dress. I wasn’t to happy with it but I thought I could keep the receipt and still look around for a better dress. If I found one I would take the first dress back to Fashion Bug and if not, well I would have a decent dress for the wedding.

One night last week I was bored and was searching online for some dresses at local stores around here and I found a really cute mango colored dress on JC Penny’s website. It was all summery and would be perfect for the wedding so I informed Mike that the next day we where going to stop at the mall so I could hopefully find that dress. Of course they didn’t have it so I just went through and picked some dresses to try one. The last one I picked up was the cutest little thing and I thought there is no way I would look good in that. It was a short, halter dress and I have shitty legs and flabby arms but my arms can be covered up with a matching cardigan sweater (which I have).

I finally find a dressing room that was open and I try on all the dresses. One by one I go down the line, hating everyone I try on. This one makes me look like I am grape, this one makes me look like I am built like a line backer, one excuse after the other. So I am down to the last dress, the cute little thing that I wanted but didn’t think it would look good on me. So, I try it on. Not wanting to look into the mirror until I have the whole thing on. So through tightly closed eye lids I slip the dress on and took a nervous sigh and opened my eyes. And there, looking back at me was myself looking not half bad. I was impressed to say the least. This dress showed off my good points (nice chest and smaller waist). And even though it does show off my crappy legs, I bought it anyway.

The price tag said $70 but thank God it was on sale and I only paid $49.99 for it.

A couple of days later I went looking for shoes and found a pair at Target that matched perfectly with my cute little girly dress.

So I have my cute dress, cute shoes and cute cardigan sweater and I am actually happy.

Great style Manda! You’re going to look so beautiful and fresh for the wedding (maybe even better than the bride? hehe)

Now…you HAVE HAVE HAVE to let someone get a picture of you in this outfit because it is just too cute to not have a picture of you in it!
