We got Raven’s report card in the mail today all A’s. She has been promoted to the 5th grade which is really no surprise since she almost always gets straight A’s except for the occasional B which only happens once of twice a school year. God how I hope she keeps getting these types of grades when she enters junior high and *gulp* high school. She has one more school year left and she will be out of elementary school and into junior high. You know, I always got a tad bit annoyed when people would tell me “It just seems like yesterday when she was a baby†but lately for the past couple of years it does seem like they are just flying by. I remember being in school and having the school year just seem to drag by, it would be like forever (that’s my best valley girl impression) until the summer vacation would start. But now it’s just . . . BOOM . . . and the school year has ended. Is that something that come with old age?
Oh and here is my new myspace profile picture. It didn’t turn out the way I was actually hoping for but oh well. It will do for now until I can come up with something better.

June 12, 2007 at 8:25 pmWTF, why would you put that up and not put a “If you’re scared of Kayako” disclaimer on it? Lol.

June 13, 2007 at 2:46 amUhh, shudder. Ring, isn´t it? I remember the US version, I slept uneasily for a whole week. I wanna see part II, though. Sadistic tendencies.
Time flies indeed. Enjoy it as long as you can!

June 15, 2007 at 5:28 am😛 Forgive the double comment, Despair doesn’t know what it’s doing, lol.
Can Raven come go back in time and do my homework? Seriously, dude.
Off Topic: I see you have Reincarnation on your queue, and if you get that before me I’ll kick you in your ass, because I’ve been on the waiting list for 3 months, lol. I just got to see Arang and The Uninvited, if you’re into the classic long haired, white funeral garbed OnryÅ vengeful spirit.

June 15, 2007 at 8:56 amIt’s great that your daughter get’s such good grades! Keep encouraging her to work hard and tell her that it’s nothing bad with getting good grades. (I started to do badder in school just to be “cool”. I quickly understood that it wasn’t going to work :P)
I actually jumped a bit when I saw your myspace picture. 😛 Is it grudge inspired or exorcist ispired? Probably grugde because of the hair. I hate both movies, they scare me to death! 😐

June 15, 2007 at 9:21 amI think even while i’m in school the year seems to fly by. It seems to drag on but when it’s over i’m always like holy crap where did all my time go?
Junior high isn’t as bad as it’s made out to be. For me it seems like every year people are always like “oh next year is going be so much harder”, “just wait you’ll never do as good as you have in the past.” And every next year comes and I end up doing even better. So i’m sure she’ll keep her grades up if she really wants to. The only thing i’d advise you to be aware of, is of course the peer pressure. 7th grade was a rough year for me along those lines. Just be there for her whenever she makes a mistake. You sound like a great mom so i’m sure you’ll be able handle it.
