Africam

I just spent 15 minutes watching Africam – View Live African Wildlife. What Africam is, is a streaming 24 hours a day 7 days a week live webcam that is focused on Nkorho Pan which is a natural water hole in the Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve in South Africa.

During the daylight you get a bright vivid video and black and white infrared at night. The webcam is equipped with sounds so that you not only see what is happening but you can here it as well. The webcam can also rotate 360 degrees and is manually operated from the Nkorho Bush Lodge that is located just a few hundred meters from the watering hole.

This is actually pretty cool and I have bookmarked the site so I can continue to return to view more of the African wildlife and even sent the link to a few family members that I know would be interested in viewing it.

So if you have some free time why not check out Africam.

Must….Some day… Give….. Manda…. Love…. Probably in the next post because I can’t, for the life of me, get into my Blog roll at the moment. =) You have not been forgotten!

I don’t know why, but that reminds me of the episode of the Simpsons where Ringo Starr was a guest star. And Burns said Homer was the fattest, ugliest thing he’d ever seen and he’d been on safari. =D Sorry. I just had to do that.
