Sorry

Sorry I haven’t been posting much lately. Mike is waiting for them to call him out on another job so while he is waiting he’s usually on the computer which means I get less time on it. And when he is not on it we are out fishing or doing things of that nature. I have some maybe exciting news. The guy who owns the big gray building beside us may be interested in buying our house. He has talked to us in the past, I believed the year was 2004, about it and he is still interested. And if he offers a certain amount more then likely we will take it. Actually I would like to move. I love Spelter and I love the location our house is in but there is just too much work for us to do to it. Mike and I didn’t know just how much work it would be when we decided to buy this house. Where we would move to I have no clue. Mike kinda wants to move closer to the Ohio River that runs through WV which would be in Parkersburg, WV. So we have been looking around there at the price of homes. Parkersburg is just a little over an hour away from us now and we would be further away from my Mom and Nan and Mike’s mom but we would be closer to my Dad. The guy who wants to buy our house lives out of state and said he will be back in about 3 weeks to a month and wants to talk to Mike more about selling then. So . . . we will just have to wait and see.

Oh I envy you about the moving thing. I’m so wanting to move it’s not funny. We just need more space. While we were driving yesterday I was looking at some houses in a neighborhood around the elementary school. I want to move to a neighborhood where I know Sydney can play with the kids in her class and stuff. Close to school, etc. I’m not really into living in the country right now. I change a lot though.

I know exactly what you mean. We had a house in the same situation as yours; the work it needed done to it was endless. Finally, we just sold the place…sometimes you pay more for a good conditioned house than say a handyman special one, but in the long run it usually turns out cheaper. I’ll be praying for the sell of your house Manda!
