Well, it looks like I am going to be pushing the surgery to have my gallbladder removed back until after the first of the year. Possibly not until the spring. Since my husband as been laid off, our insurance company (Blue Cross Blue Shield) dropped us on November 1 and without insurance to cover the hefty hospital bill there is no way I am paying the whole thing out of pocket. Especially not with Christmas right around the corner. Oh well. I have dealt with the pain this long, whats a couple more months?

I salute you for being so "firm" with the whole gb thing, but a fair warning: after a few months, the # of stones seems to get worse, hence the pain gets worse, so I hope you get a remotely decent, close date for the surgery, or are blessed with not getting more stones. 🙁
