Day 08: Review a movie.
For today’s blog challenge I am supposed to review a movie. But since I now write for HorrorNews.net (and I recently reviewed a movie there) I’m just going to direct you to that page.
Raven started 8th grade on Thursday August 19. Just one more year and she will be in high school. Hard to believe. She swears this year is going to suck and go by soooooo slow. I seem to be one of the few parents that did not look forward to their child going back to school.
I finally got a desk for myself. For the last few years, I have used the bed as my desk. It was not convent and kind of a pain in the ass at times. However, I never wanted to spend the money to get myself a desk. Well, this past weekend I bit the bullet and bought a small desk for $29 at Walmart. I am so glad I did. It is small but that is all I really need. I like having a place to work while having the bed open to relax and what not. The desk also gives Jedi another place to sleep.
Halloween is quickly approaching and I am getting uber excited! For the past few years, I have worked outside the home and (even though I love Halloween) was too tired to do much of anything on my days off. Well, now that I am a freelancer I can work around my own schedule instead of someone else’s and I am planning all kinds of fun Halloween stuff for us to do!

August 25, 2010 at 10:44 amWow, eighth grade? It’s still blowing my mind that my child is going to be in kindergarten. I can’t imagine my kid being in high school. Good luck to Raven — I hope she enjoys it. Personally I found 8th grade to be awkward, since it was so in-between middle school and high school.
I’m glad you got a computer desk — I can’t imagine *not* having one!
And yay for Halloween plans. I’m already planning out stuff too. I can’t wait!

August 26, 2010 at 9:55 pmHalloween is such a great holiday. It’s definitely one of my favourites. I love carving pumpkins and then making a delicious snack from the seeds. The decorations around the neighbourhood are always fantastic too. I just wish I could still go trick or treating LOL

August 27, 2010 at 8:18 pmThat is a crazy question. I think I would definitely tell everyone I cared about how I felt about them. I would make sure that my dogs and other animals would be in a good hands, and then I would do some crazy shit. I think I would do some extreme stuff!
