A Quick Update

I have some possibly extremely good news but I do not want to jinx it so I am keeping it under wraps until I know for sure if it actually happens. I am ubber excited and know there is a big possibility that I am getting my hopes up for nothing but I cannot help it. But since I cannot go into details right now I will just move on to something else.

Four days ago, I started Couch-to-5K and I am actually enjoying it! So much so that I have done it 4 days straight (even though the plan is only for 3 days a week) and hope I continue it every day. I need to get a better pair of shoes (running in my old Converse does not feel very good) but so far haven’t found anything I really like. I actually don’t like the look of running shoes but am hoping to find a pair that are comfortable without the look of running shoes.

That’s all I can muster up right now because I am rather tired and just want to get some sleep.

Good news? I’m instantly interested. I’m just attracted to information I don’t know about, haha.

Well done you for keeping up with the fitness program. Couch-to-5K is such a catchy name as well. Kind of makes me want to do it even though I don’t have a problem with doing too little exercise. I’m that sort of person, give me a catchy name and tagline and I’m all for it. xD

I went through a phase when I was about 7 where I was such a tomboy. I only wore trainers and never were skirts. For practicality reasons. Trainers so I can run fast whenever I need and trousers always so I didn’t risk losing my dignity while running.

I don’t like the look of running shoes either. But converse really aren’t suitable for running. Or even long walks. I bought a pair of proper running shoes back when I worked at a kennel and took long walks with dogs every day. They weren’t the prettiest but my feet where happy. 🙂
