Glad To Be Out Of There

When we were packing our stuff up from my mother-in-law’s, I found a few trophies that Raven had received when she was in soccer during her elementary years. She wanted to toss them in the trash because she had no use for them and even though I had a twang of pain at the thought, I agreed. She did not want them and they were participation trophies since at that age group all the teams got participation trophies only. When my MIL found out, she was not a happy campy. The trophies had nothing to do with her yet somehow she took it upon herself to tell me how I should have kept them because Raven will want them when she gets older and she just went on, and on, and on. I am so glad I’m out of that house.
