With a little over a week left until Christmas, my body decides to succumb to sickness. It’s not like I had anything to do. Oh no. *sarcasm*
So, I woke up this morning with a fever of 100.7. My throat is sore, one nostril is stuffy, the other nostril is running and my head is full of pressure. This is not want I needed a week before Christmas. I have tons of work to do, goodies to bake and presents to buy. I do not have time to be sick.
Despite all my best efforts, today was mostly spent trying to get work done. But little was accomplished. Even though I didn’t do much of anything I feel completely exhausted. I mean, I know my body is doing all this work trying to fight off whatever it is I have and it needs rest, but I have so much stuff to do.
I am so not ready for Christmas.

December 18, 2014 at 11:58 amEveryone seems to be getting sick. I had a horrible cold over Thanksgiving. My Mom was hospitalized a couple days ago. I’m way behind on Christmas shopping as well. Hope you feel better soon!

December 20, 2014 at 9:53 pmOh that sucks! I’ve been sick for most of the last 3 months with recurring Bronchitis and other infections so I know how you feel. I got the flu the last 2 weeks on top of it and had a fever it is not fun. Get lots of rest, fluids and make everyone wait on you hand and foot lol! Get better soon!
