This past weekend has been a busy one. My sister in law and brother in law were in for the Harvest Fest that was going on at Trinity Church because my cool brother in law and his awesome band preformed (DecembeRadio, go check ’em out, they’re the greatest) at the Harvest Fest. Of course the concert rocked my socks. I will post a more in depth post later. Right now I am going to watch 28 Weeks Later.

Last night me, Mike, my mother in law and Raven went down to the Apple Butter Festival in Salem. There’s not a whole lot to do at it, no rides or anything like that. Just some booths, a stage for various performers, a petting zoo and things of that nature.

Raven had a good time cause she got to go in the petting zoo and do you know what she got to pet that just made her whole week? A cow. That’s right. A cow. She was so exciting that she even told me I could take pictures of her petting the cow cause she loves cows.

Yep.

I hate when people ask you a question and then act like they do not care to hear the answer.
That’s all I can think of right now LOL.

Not really.

On some things I am a creature of habit but I do like to mix it up some times and change doesn’t really bother me depending on what is changing LOL.

Welp, the title says it all.

Yesterday started out innocently enough. Like every other week day I got Raven up and off to school. Then proceeded to do my normal run of the mill every day things. Do some posts, housework, more posts, followed by more housework, bug Mike some, cook, clean, bug Mike some more, then when Raven gets home from school bug her, and play Halo 3. You know, your average everyday things.

But I did not know the terror that was awaiting me.

At about 7pm Mike decided he was going to pull himself away from the Xbox 360 and go out fishing before he gets to cold. So after he left I told Raven it was time to go take her bath cause The Office was on at 9 tonight and I wanted her in bed by 8:58. So we mosey on upstairs and as she was in the bathroom bathing I figure I could get some things boxed up and pack in our upstairs bedroom.

So there I was, humming the theme song to Magnum P.I. (WTF! I know! I had it stuck in my head for some reason, I swear I haven’t seen that show in years), minding my own business when all of a sudden there was something buzzing by my ear. Thinking it was just a fly I shooed it away. Not 6 seconds later there was a horrible sting on the back of my neck. I let out a yell and instinct brought my right hand to the back of my neck. All of a sudden, while my hand was on the back of my neck, there was a sting on my pinky finger and I felt something that was buzzing fall down the back of my shirt.

This is when panic set in.

I started to dance around the bedroom like I have never danced before in my life screaming for Raven to get in here NOW! All the while the buzzing insect just kept on buzzing inside the back of my shirt.

Raven comes walking in the bathroom dripping wet with a towel wrapped around her. She sees me dancing around the bedroom and bursts out laughing. After a few seconds of me threatening her life if she doesn’t stop laughing and help me get this thing out of my shirt, she finally made her way over to me and low and behold there was nothing in the back of my shirt. But I did have a swollen pinky finger and what looked to be 2 to 3 wasp or hornet stings on the back of my neck.

I never did find the damn thing that stung me. But if I do, I swear I will ripe it’s damn wings off!

Well, my site was down for 24 hours cause of a billing error. Seems they were charging me an extra $30 for something I didn’t want or need. So I told them that I would pay when they took that charge off. So of course it took them 24 hours to take that extra charge off. But I really shouldn’t complain cause they have been a pretty damn good hosting company. So any who, I’m back!

How do you eat your M&M’s?
I usually eat peanut or almond M&M’s (which are my favorite) and I eat them a few at a time. I suck on them until all the chocolate is off and then I eat the almond. Of course I also have to fight with Mike and Raven cause when I buy almond m&m’s I ask if they are going to eat any of them (cause then I would buy 2 bags) and they both say no cause they do not like them. But it never fails that they end up eating most of them.

Jeromy Jackson of Morgantown West Virginia (which is about 40 minutes away from me) is suing McDonald’s to the tune of ten million dollars for giving him a Quarter Pounder with Cheese when he specifically asked for no cheese. Well shit. If I knew I could sue restaurants for getting my order wrong I would be one hell of a rich women.

In all seriousness he is supposedly deathly allergic to cheese and said he told about 5 workers at the fast food chain so. What I do not understand is that if he is so damn allergic to cheese why he didn’t check his order before driving off. Hell, that’s what we do and we’re not allergic to anything. We double check the food just to make damn sure it’s what we ordered before heading home to find out that McDonald’s fucked up once again.

So he didn’t check his order before leaving the Star City McDonald’s. Ok, but I do not understand why they drove clear to Clarksburg (which is about 45 minutes away from Star City) before eating their food? Were they worried that there would be no McDonald’s in Clarksburg?

So he didn’t check to make sure there was no cheese before leaving the restaurant. You would then think he would check before devouring it right? Well you would be wrong! See, he couldn’t check it cause they were eating in an extremely dark room. They have an excuse answer for everything!

Jeromy took one bite and started having the reaction so one of his friends immediately called the McDonald’s to let restaurant employees know they had messed up the order. Yep. That’s exactly what I would be doing if I was having an allergic reaction. Only idiots would call an ambulance first *sarcasm*.

Something just doesn’t sit right with me about this case.

We made it home Wednesday at about 6pm. We all had fun and I took lots of pictures. Hopefully within a day or two I will have them posted along with a in depth post about what all we did. Right now we are just trying to get back in the groove of things.

Right now we are in the process of getting everything around and packed. I am waiting for one of the bathrooms to become free so I can get in there and get ready. Raven is in the downstairs bathroom and Mike is in the upstairs. So while I am waiting I thought I would make one last post before we head out of here.

I have not a clue what we will be doing up there besides bullshitting with my family. I know Mike and my step-brother Alex will be going fishing Monday night and Dad has something planned for us on Tuesday.

Well, one of the bathrooms is free so I need to go get dressed and ready. See y’all in a few days!
