30DBC – Day 04

Day 4 – Your favorite photograph of your best friend.

My best friend is my husband. I had to go through many pictures and it was hard as hell to narrow it down. However, I did. To two pictures. They were taken at the same time so I am going to count them as one. I took those years ago when we were in a hotel room in Cincinnati Ohio. We were taking Raven to the Cincinnati Zoo. The hotel was a Days Inn and it was horrible. The worst hotel we have ever stayed in. The look on the door did not work and it was nasty and smelly. Fortunately, it was just for one night.

September Has Been A Bust

September has started without a bang. Actually, September has been a bust. I am a freelance writer and my main client has been having issues with review times and a sluggish website so my paydays have been pathetic to say the least. It sucks because I was planning on getting this month’s and next month’s bills out of the way so I would be free to spend the whole month of October celebrating Halloween with various Halloween related activities. In addition, I was really wanting to purchase my mom an affordable laptop such as the Acer Aspire for Christmas but may not be able to afford if my client still has problems. I really should not jump the gun because they have only been experience problems for the past week and half. I just hope they get the problem taken care of soon.

30DBC – Day 03

Day 3 – Your idea of the perfect first date.

Start with either a horror or a comedy movie. Do not really care if it is at home or at the movie theater. Next, we would go to either a local amusement park or carnival/fair, ride rides and eat the typical junk food that can be found flooding those types of establishments. Afterward, we would go to a haunted house (not real, a fake one put on during the Halloween season). There may be nothing more fun than going to a haunted house with a cute guy who you can laugh at when they get scared. We would end the night eating at a casual restaurant (a good place I could get a burger) and talking into the wee hours of the morning.
