Well, my appointment at the eye doctors was at 12:45 today. I finally got to see the doctor at 2pm. Basically they messed up my prescription and are ordering me new lens and it will take 5 to 7 days for the new lens to come in. Hopefully they can get the prescription right this time.
Raven is building her new set of Legos that she got today and Mike went out fishing.
Well, I went back up to Sterling Optical this morning and they took a look at my glasses. They said it was a manufacture defect and that they would order me new lens with no cost to me and when they come in they will let me know so I can bring my glasses up and have the new lens cut and put into the frames. Getting these new glasses has been consuming my life since Thursday and it will continue until I get use to these damn things. My vision is all out of whack and the back of my ears are killing me. I can not wait to get use to these things!
On another note, Raven is sleeping, Mike is fishing, London is outside and I just got done watching one of the Matlock movies on the Hallmark Channel. I love Matlock.

My new glasses came in yesterday so I picked them up last night but had to wait until this morning to get them fitted. So I get them fitted and everything is blurry and they hurt but hopefully I will get use to them soon. Anyway, I go to clean them and there is a small hole in the middle of both lens. So I call Sterling Optical and they said to bring them in tomorrow morning. So we will see what happens. I am hoping to get contacts with a month.
Saturday night when me and Mike went fishing we didn’t catch anything at all, didn’t even have a bit. But Sunday morning when I woke up I went to clean my glasses like I usually do and all these scratches started to appear on my lens. Turns out it’s some coated that is on the lens that is coming off and there is no way to fix it. It’s pretty much like a hazy fog all over my lens and it makes it very difficult to see correctly. So yesterday I went to Sterling Optical and got an eye examine so I can get new glasses. It costs $459 for everything including the doctor visit and will take 5 to 7 days for them to be ready. And my MIL wanted us to pay her car insurance for her and we can’t right now especially with just having to pay for my glasses. So after all the crap with my glasses, me Mike and Raven go down to the food court at the mall to get some lunch and MIL shows up. And she asks about my glasses and I tell her what happens and then she starts “Yeah that’s what my glasses are doing.” No they are not! There is not a damn thing wrong with her glasses but if it’s happening to anyone else but her then she has to belittle it and make it seem like it’s no big deal. And then Mike starts talking about what the doctor had told me and MIL butts in about a brochure she got at the cell phone place. Cause this brochure is more important then what the doctor had to say. It really pisses me off. MIL is the type of person that everything has to be about her and only her. Nothing can be about anyone else. Like if Mike says Raven does something like I do. MIL butts in saying “Raven does it like me too.” And if someone says Raven looks like me when I was little, MIL says “Raven looks like Donielle (Mike’s sister)”. Raven doesn’t look anything like Donielle. I’m not saying it’s a good thing that Raven looks like me (cause it’s not) but she does. It’s just MIL has to have it all about her. If the world doesn’t revolve around her then it just doesn’t revolve.
Any way back to my glasses. I just want to hurry up and get them in so I can get use to them and everything can go back to normal. It will take a couple of weeks for me to get use to the new prescription and frames. I wish I could get disposable contact but since my prescription is so bad it will cost $250 for a pair of contacts that last a year cause they don’t make disposable contacts in my prescription. 🙁
The other day I was down at my Mom and Nan’s house and one of my aunts (we will call her Sally) was there with one of the girls that is stuck up her ass. We will call this girl Jackie. Well Jackie was showing Sally a magazine that apparently had pictures of celebrities without their make-up. Well Aunt Sally says to me. “Don’t you wish you had one of these big shot make up people so maybe you could be pretty”. Everyone laughs. Except me. I felt like shit. I have never done anything to these people to even warrant a statement like that. But none the less, there it was. I had my mom take me and Raven home and I waited there feeling like shit until it was time to go to sleep, hoping that I wouldn’t wake up the next morning. These are my family members and they are saying this stuff to me. I guess I should be use to it. Some members of my family have always said stuff like that to me. Even when my Dad left my mom, my mom told me it was my fault cause I wasn’t good enough for him. That he left cause he wanted a better child. So you would think that after dealing with this crap for about 18 years (since I got out of my “cute” stage) that I would be use to it. Well I’m not. It still hurts like hell. And poor Mike was trying to make me feel better. Telling me that it doesn’t matter what those idiots think. That he thinks I’m beautiful (I know it’s a lie but it’s nice to hear anyway). I just want to move away from these people. My mom and Nan and Aunt “Sally” think that “Jackie” and “Suzie” (another girl that aunt sally has stuck up her butt) are just the greatest people in the world. They don’t take care of their kids and are trouble makers and to hear my family talk these 2 girls are sweet little angels and I’m just someone to be there if they need something. I really think my family would be happier with me if I wouldn’t take care of Raven, Mike would divorce me, I would get arrested and just act like I was still a teenager. Then maybe I would fit in with them.
I just got done watching Hide and Seek. It was a pretty good movie. Not a horror movie though it was a psychological thriller. The twist at the end was pretty cool. Damn that little girl that played Emily can act.
Anywho, I’m tired and not feel like making along post. Sorry.
Tomorrow Mike is leaving for his fishing trip to Virginia. He will be gone Saturday night and be home Sunday.
Tomorrow I am putting some auctions on Ebay so hopefully I can make some money for Christmas. I want to get Mike XBox 360 but I don’t want him to know that I want to get it for him for Christmas. The new XBox runs around $300 – $350 plus I will have to buy him some games to go along with it and they run around $50 each. Raven is all ready thinking about what she wants for Christmas. She is starting to make a list. So far she has wrote down the new gameboy, a boy bunnybee (santa got her the girl bunnybee last year) and some more Littlest Pet Shop things. She just bought two more animals for her Littlest Pet Shop yesterday at Walmart.
Last night I made No Bake Cookies for Mike to take with him on his trip for him and the other guys. Whenever he goes fishing with his friends I try to bake something for them all.
London is just so darn skinny and we can’t figure out why. He doesn’t have any sickness, or worms or diseases and we keep his food bowl filled up for him all the time so he can eat when he wants and we have bought him Purina Dog food from the very beginning. So we thought maybe he just doesn’t like the Purina Dog Food. I mean to look at it, it doesn’t look very pleasing compared to some of the other dog foods. But Purina is suppose to be a good brand of dog food. And the vet said that it was. But me and Mike don’t think he likes it anymore. So yesterday at Walmart we bought him a little bag of Kibbles and Bits for him to try out. He seemed to really like it. We will just have to wait and see if he eats it more then he did with his old dog food.
Sorry I have been away for awhile but Blogger decided to be a pain in the ass and stop publishing my posts. I emailed blogger but never got a response. I heard some other people where having problems with blogger too so I just decided it was time for me to give wordpress a shot and I am glad I did. It took me 3 or 4 days of messing with it to get the hang of it but I think I got it now. WordPress is so much better. There is so much I can do with it. I have even added a plug in on my blog to show my Netflix Queue. So give me a few more days up to a week and everything should be up and running. I have changed the layout of my site. It’s Jack Gylennhall (sp?). He is such a great actor and amazingly hot that I can over look his politic views. Right now I am working on skinning this site so my visitors will be able to change the look of my blog.
Since I have been away for 23 days I will update you on something’s:
– Raven is out of school for the summer but she will be starting Project Isaac on July 5 through the last week of July.
– Went to PA last weekend for Mike’s cousin Ben’s wedding. It was very nice. The bride was beautiful and Ben incorporated some Superman things into the wedding which I thought was so cool (he loves Superman).
– Nothing more from the guy who might want to buy our house. I will get into details later.
– Mike is going down to the James River in Virginia tomorrow to fish for Blue Catfish. He will be back sometime Sunday.
Well that’s about it for right now.
Well, Mike will be coming home sometime today. He went to Burnsville for a fishing trip with some of the KatMasters.com members. I hope he got a nice size catfish.
We went ahead and reserved the hotel for Mike’s cousin’s ,Ben, Wedding. Last time we went and visited them in Carlisle Pennsylvania it was in 2003 and we stayed at the Comfort Inn in Carlisle. Across the road from the hotel we was staying in was a really nice Holiday Inn (we have had really good experiences with Holiday Inns) and wished we would have booked that hotel. Well, that’s the hotel we are staying in for this trip. It looks like a lodge or some sorta cabin on the outside.
Raven isn’t coming with us. She is going to stay the weekend with my mom and Nan. She is really looking forward to it. We are going to leave the morning of Friday June 17, the wedding is Saturday June 18 and come home sometime Sunday June 19. Mike is really excited about going out there and seeing his cousin Steven.
I am trying to find something to wear to the wedding. I don’t really have any nice clothing. I have what I call my funeral/wedding suit which I really like but I don’t want to wear it. So I have been looking for a nice girly dress, preferably black and pink. I am really starting to love pink know. I found this dress on ebay that I really like:
It ends in like 3 days so I am going to have Mike take me shopping Monday and look to see if I can find anything around here I like and if not then I will just get this dress. I also need to buy shoes!
Are we ever gonna get a break? The guy installing our neighbors gas line told us that the gas line running from the meter to the house has to be above ground now. One of the many things the gas company decided to change. The guy gave us an estimate of what it is going to cost to have it done $875! And we have to come up with that in less then 10 days. I really don’t know what we are going to do. We where gonna get new windows for the house and the truck needs new tires but if we don’t get the gas line done in 10 days then they will shut off our gas! We have never been late with a payment to the gas company and it’s not our fault that the gas company decided to change the way the lines are but we have to pay for it. If this is how they treat there loyal paying on time costumers God knows how they treat there other ones. Now our phone is messing up and a phone line outside our home is down, lying on the ground. So I talked to the phone company and they said they would send someone out today to look at it and he said hopefully they won’t bill me for the maintenance charge. In the first place, the line that is down is not even from our house. It’s in front of the big abandoned gray building beside our house and I will be damned if I am paying for that!
And now our computer is fucking up. It’s not even 2 years old yet and it shuts off by itself after about 15 – 20 minutes. I am typing this hoping that it won’t shut off in the middle. I feel like crying and screaming!
