Nothing really exciting going on. Friday the gas company came over. Our neighbors and us share a gas line and the gas company said that’s not allowed anymore so we have to have someone who is certified to install gas pipes to come in and do it. They said the homeowners are not allowed to do it anymore. So we have to find and pay out of our own pockets someone to come in and install the gas pipes in ten days or they will shut off our gas. I don’t see why we are getting punished cause they gas company decided two different houses can’t share a main gas line. They are the ones who put it in to begin with!

Nan’s (my grandmother) had her 80th birthday party yesterday. Everyone seemed to have a good time.

Mike is probably going to be gone for this weekend. He is going to meet some of his buddies at Burnsville for some catfishing.

Been really busy lately trying to get SPIRIT (Society for Paranormal Investigation Research and Informational Training) out and knowing. Get some members. And I have started a message board for it but he doesn’t really matter when I’m the only member right now. God!

A little background on SPIRIT : I am the owner and lead investigator of SPIRIT (Society for Paranormal Investigation, Research and Informational Training). SPIRIT was founded a couple of years ago by a man named Isaac Merkle when he owned SPIRIT I was a Chapter Leader. In the fall of 2004 Isaac decided he didn’t have the time to continue on with SPIRIT so, with his permission, I took over. I am still getting things in order. And need to get some members so I can get an investigation under way. There was so many members of SPIRIT from all over the USA when Isaac owned it and then he took it offline for months and I finally contacted him asking what was going on and that’s when I got permission to take over for him but none of the old members came back! What bullshit! This is what I have been waiting for! I haven’t been studying the paranormal (with my main background being ghosts) for 16 years (since I was 9) reading everything I could get a hold of for nothing!
On another note, Mike’s cousin Ben is getting married on June 18. And we got the invitation in the other day. Ben lives in PA so we will have to get a hotel room. I think we are going to leave Friday morning and then come home Sunday. Raven is just going to stay with my mom that weekend. I will post more info about it later.

Well, Raven didn’t go to school toady. Friday when she came home we took her to the doctors cause we thought she had pink eye. Yep, she does. The doctor gave her a prescription and said that she will be able to go to school on Monday. Well, this morning she woke up and had pink eye in the other eye. So we just kept her home from school today. She has to get 2 eye drops in each eye 4 times a day for 7 days. The doctor also gave her an antibiotic cause she said her throat and ears where a little read. She has to take it once a day for 10 days. The antibiotic cost $100 cause they don’t have a generic version of it yet but our insurance paid all but $5 of it and the eye drops didn’t cost us a thing. Thank God for that!

Nothing else really going on. The weather has been sucky lately. Cold and wet! Can’t wait until it gets warm and dry so I can paint the damn shutters.

Mike has been having all kinds of problems with his board. I will post about it later. Don’t feel like typing it all out right now. But I will say that it is worse then a fucking soap opera!

Sorry I haven’t posted in a few days, just been busy with other things. Yesterday was mother’s day and Mike and Raven got me an Azalea bush and grass seed and some miscellaneous flowers and Saturday all 3 of us where out there planting. Mike also made me dinner for mother’s day.

I am assuming the gas company will be here sometime today. They came Thursday and marked off a box with white paint in our yard and the neighbors and across the little gravel road that runs in front of our yards. They also placed a little white gas installation flag up so we will see what they do and if they try to get us to pay for it.

Since school will be out soon, Raven has all kinds of activities and events that are happening. She has 2 field trips coming up (May 19 and 20) that she is looking forward too. The first one, they are going to shop and save and a pet store in the mall. When I heard that was where they where going on a field trip I couldn’t believe it. I remember when I was young we went to hell of a lot better places then Shop and Save for a field trip.

The second one isn’t even really a field trip, it is an RSP Reward. If you don’t have more then 2 Oops slips then you get to go. They give out oops slips if you forget your homework. Raven has no Oops slip so she gets to go to Valley Worlds of Fun. They have bowling, lazer tag, go carts and some of other things.

“Three tomatoes are walking down the street, a poppa tomato, a momma tomato, and a little baby tomato. The baby tomato is lagging behind the poppa and momma tomato. The poppa tomato gets mad, goes over to the baby tomato and smooshes him… and says, Catch up.”

Raven’s first soccer game for the spring 2005 season was today and Raven got her first goal! And the coach was wrong, their colors are black and yellow not black and pink. They didn’t win 2 – 1 was the score with Raven making the only goal for her team. She came close to making 3 or 4 more. Way to go Raven!

Well, Mike got home late Saturday/early Sunday about 12:30 am. He didn’t catch anything big. But he did get to catch a blue catfish, bullhead catfish and a gar. He also won a door prize which was a pink azalea bush so we are going to have to find a place to plant it. I am glad Mike is home. Me, Raven and London all missed him very much.

Well, it looks like another gloomy day. And it seems to be rather cold outside. I can not wait for this weather to get sunny and back up to the 70’s and 80’s.

I know, I don’t really have anything interesting to say today. Sorry.

Well, nothing really going on today. Just me and London for the rest of the night. Raven is staying the night with my mom and Nan. My Nan (grandmother) loves Locke from the TV show Lost. She thinks he is very sexy. So, last night I printed out 3 photos of him and put them in frames and this morning when I went down there I arraigned them on her night stand. Well, needless to say when she went to take her nap she was very surprised and happy to find that on her night stand. “Wouldn’t that be nice to crawl into bed with!?” Nan exclaimed while pointing to the framed pictures of Locke. It’s always funny to hear a 79 year old women talk dirty about a man.

Last night me and Raven watched Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events. Raven fell asleep about 45 minutes into the movie. But what she did see of it she liked. I liked it to. Especially Violets clothing in that movie. Very beautiful clothing.

I am still missing Mike very much. I haven’t talked to him today but he did call me last night at about 10:30. I hope he is having fun and I hope he catches a nice size blue catfish.

He is suppose to be home sometime tomorrow.

Well, Mike left last night at about 7:00 pm. He stayed the night up at his grandpa’s cabin with his grandpa and his dad. They are going to trout fish today. Then tonight he is going to meet up with one of his friends (who lives only about 1/2 hour away from the cabin) and go to Virginia for the Catfish tournament. Mike will be home sometime Sunday. God, I already really miss him. Last night I couldn’t get to sleep. I am not use to Mike either not sleeping by me or not being on the computer while I sleep. It sucks. So, I layed in bed tossing and turning, listening to Raven make nosies in her sleep and London snore. I fianlly decided to just watch some tv so I watched Young Guns and at about 3:30 am. I finally feel asleep. I had to get up at 6:30 to get Raven off to school. After she left I layed back down and finally got a couple more hours of sleep.

Anyway, tonight me and Raven are going to have taco in a bag for dinner and watch Lemony Snicket’s a Series of Unfortunate Events. And then tomorrow night Raven is spending the night with my Mom so it will just be me and London.

Ok, now for something completely different. I have come to a realization that Hank Hill (from the tv show King of the Hill) might just be the perfect man. I am sure you all are thinking “She’s either crazy or stupid!”. Well, a little of both. But before you poo poo on my realization hear me out on this. Ok? Ok.

Let’s start with the fact that Hank Hill loves his job. And I mean LOVES his job. He cares so much for propane and propane accessories that he has made it is goal in life to get everyone to start using the cleanest burning fuel around. You will never hear him bitch or complain about his job and he is happy to work overtime. Not only does he enjoy his job more then one person can imagine, he is also very good at it. And he is not merely an employee at Strickland Propane he is the Assistant Manager AND employee of the month practically every month.

Next, Hank Hill enjoys mowing the yard. Hell, it’s one of his hobbies. He takes great pride in the way his lawn is presented and makes sure that it is always looking it’s best. You will never have to use a hatch to get through the jungle growing in your yard with Hank Hill around. Plus he enjoys grilling (a form of cooking).

And probably the most compelling argument is that Hank Hill does not like looking at any other women but his wife! That’s right! Can you believe that? Well, it’s true. He doesn’t look at any nudie magazines, pornos, or anything of the kind. One time when he was looking for his father in a strip club he kept his eyes closed the whole time cause he didn’t want to see any naked women but Peggy.

So far Hank Hill is in the lead for the perfect man. Now if I can only get Mike to start enjoying yard work he just might be tied with Hank for first place.

It is snowing here, can you believe that! We where having 70 and 80 degree weather just a couple of days ago and now it is snowing! I want it to go back to the 70-80 degree weather 🙁

This coming weekend Mike might go down to Virginia with one of his fishing buddies to fish in a tournament. He would leave at like 9:30 pm Friday night and come home sometimes Sunday. And Raven is suppose to stay the night with my mom this Saturday night. So me and raven (and London) will be here by ourselves Friday and then it will just be me and London Saturday night. Since A Series of Unfortunate Events is coming out Tuesday. I will pick it up at Walmart and me and Raven will have something to watch Friday night while Mike is gone. And then since Mike won’t be here Saturday night I can have the computer all to myself!
