Why does life have to be this hard? Why is mine filled with heartache and pain? I must of done something to diserve this right? But what did I do? Did I piss the big guy upstairs off that much? Hey, God! You turned your back on me a long time ago so why should I continue to put all my faith in you? Why should I get down on my knees and pray when you never seem to be there?

I have been away from blogging for awhile cause . . . well . . .  I just haven’t had the desire to blog or do anything else lately. Life throws me curve balls after curve balls and life even hits me upside the freakin head with the damn ball and somehow I pick myself up, dust myself off and get back into the game. It sucks, cause just for once I would love for my life to go in the good direction. Just for once I want to not have to sit back and wonder what is so wrong with me, what did I do to deserve all this crap that is thrown onto me. But alas. I do not see that happening. I will have to either be content with trying to find the silver lining through all the shit or lay down and die.

It’s been awhile since my last post. I know, I know. I am slipping again. I just don’t have any drive to blog at this point. Things are both busy and boring with my life. Nothing really to blog about, and the things I do have to blog about I don’t want to cause I am a little worried that if I put them out there then it will be doomed caused fate always has a way of kicking my ass no matter what I do. Yeah, sometimes I can be a superstitious ol’ fool.

My laptop died on me the other day. Yep. The second time in a year. My hard drive went to crap. So I have probably lost all the software, pictures, music, movies and other important items that I had stored on there. Now I am left with the decision to try to get it fixed or just buy myself a desktop instead. I have Gateway!

It’s no shock to anyone that reads my blog that I sometimes do paid posts. It brings in a little extra income and it gives me a chance to get some cash for doing something that I enjoy. The sponsored conversation is pretty much just like word of mouth. The only real difference is you are getting paid to give your insight to the product, service or company. And really, where is the harm in that?

Unless you have been leaving under a rock for the past few years then I am sure you have heard about PayPerPost and SocialSpark.

What you may not know is that their parent company, IZAE, is holding their 2nd annual IZEAFest.

IZEAFest is a Blogging Conference that brings bloggers, advertisers and other internet savvy people and companies together. This year it is being held at Sea World Orlando! The 4 day event is full of conferences and seminars with guest speakers such as Ted Murphy and Julia Roy. With the last day being a full on take over of Sea World!

Of course I would love to be one of the lucky ones but I will not be in attendance. Money is just too tight right now.

Since I was away from the blogging community for several months and let my domain die I haven’t done many sponsored posts like I was doing before. Not because I wouldn’t love to get back into it, cause I would love to once again bring in a little extra income from something I enjoy doing, but because it’s really hard to find any opps (let alone decent ones) for a blog that has a google page rank of 0 (my old blog had a pr of 4). So when I heard about payperpost alpha I headed on over to IZEA to read all about the latest and greatest happenings and to learn about PayPerPost v4.0. I left my comment on their blog and kept my fingers cross that I would be one of the lucky ones to be picked to try it out. Needless to say I was a little more then overjoyed when I got the invite.

The cool thing about PayPerPost v4.0 is that there is no fighting for opps. PPP assigns you opportunities to take or decline. Which is actually a kinda cool idea cause I remember sometimes waiting hours on the computer, refreshing the available opps page hoping to get a good one.

So, I am hoping this all works out and I can get back into the whole sponsored post thing.

Even though Raven’s birthday wasn’t until this past Monday we went ahead a celebrated it this past Saturday so she could have the weekend to play with her presents. M and I got her the new DS Eye in blue that she has been wanting since she heard about Japan getting it a few months back. She was more then a little excited when she opened it up and immediately plugged it in to charge. It has barely left her hands since then. We also got her the Dragonball Z Wrath of Something or Other (I can not remember the name of it) movie and Naruto Box Set 9. Along with that we threw in a few packs of Dragonball Z cards and the cookie cake that she wanted from the The Great American Cookie Company. Then Saturday night her Aunt Donnie (Donielle) took her out shopping and to eat at Texas Roadhouse. All in all I would say she had a pretty decent birthday.

Raven’s 12th birthday is Monday but seeing how she goes back to school that day (she has been on spring break all this week), M and I decided to celebrate her birthday today. I have to pick up her sugar cookie cookie cake from The Great American Cookie Company today between 12 and 1. I am not going to post what she is getting for her birthday until after we give it to her cause the little snot knows about my blog.
