Since I was away from the blogging community for several months and let my domain die I haven’t done many sponsored posts like I was doing before. Not because I wouldn’t love to get back into it, cause I would love to once again bring in a little extra income from something I enjoy doing, but because it’s really hard to find any opps (let alone decent ones) for a blog that has a google page rank of 0 (my old blog had a pr of 4). So when I heard about payperpost alpha I headed on over to IZEA to read all about the latest and greatest happenings and to learn about PayPerPost v4.0. I left my comment on their blog and kept my fingers cross that I would be one of the lucky ones to be picked to try it out. Needless to say I was a little more then overjoyed when I got the invite.

The cool thing about PayPerPost v4.0 is that there is no fighting for opps. PPP assigns you opportunities to take or decline. Which is actually a kinda cool idea cause I remember sometimes waiting hours on the computer, refreshing the available opps page hoping to get a good one.

So, I am hoping this all works out and I can get back into the whole sponsored post thing.

Even though Raven’s birthday wasn’t until this past Monday we went ahead a celebrated it this past Saturday so she could have the weekend to play with her presents. M and I got her the new DS Eye in blue that she has been wanting since she heard about Japan getting it a few months back. She was more then a little excited when she opened it up and immediately plugged it in to charge. It has barely left her hands since then. We also got her the Dragonball Z Wrath of Something or Other (I can not remember the name of it) movie and Naruto Box Set 9. Along with that we threw in a few packs of Dragonball Z cards and the cookie cake that she wanted from the The Great American Cookie Company. Then Saturday night her Aunt Donnie (Donielle) took her out shopping and to eat at Texas Roadhouse. All in all I would say she had a pretty decent birthday.

Raven’s 12th birthday is Monday but seeing how she goes back to school that day (she has been on spring break all this week), M and I decided to celebrate her birthday today. I have to pick up her sugar cookie cookie cake from The Great American Cookie Company today between 12 and 1. I am not going to post what she is getting for her birthday until after we give it to her cause the little snot knows about my blog.
