Here and Gone.

Christmas has come and gone, like it does every year, and this year was pretty uneventful. I got a total of $170.

Raven had a wonderful Christmas as usual. My dad and step-mom got her a mini laptop, which she loves, in the the color she wanted – lime green. She got a butt load of anime and manga DVDs, books, games and various other items from me and Mike. We also got her the playstation 2 that she has been wanting. She now has four gaming systems in her bedroom. Yeah, we are geeks and dorks and are turning our daughter into one.

Snow!

We awoke this morning to about ten inches of snow covering everything! And the state being declared a “state of emergency”. Since my plans of doing some more Christmas shopping had been ruined, we decided to go outside for a little while and play in the snow. Besides getting cold and wet, we had fun!

B U R N T

I am getting burnt, B U R N T, out!

  • I have barely scratched the surface of the Christmas shopping.
  • Haven’t got any of the Christmas cards mailed out.
  • Problems at work have been making me want to pull a certain person’s hair out.
  • Our living arraignments are a big fucking joke and it is putting extra strain on both me and Raven.
  • Even with me working close to full time and writing for Demand Studios, we still do not have any money left over for anything and are even falling behind with some bills.

I just want to runaway. But who am I kidding. They would find me and drag me back. Not cause they miss me, but cause they need someone to do everything for them so they do not have to get off their lazy asses.

The only shining thing in my life is Raven. Thank the heavens for her.

Christmas Parade

Saturday morning we awoke to a blanket of snow covering everything and it being colder then a witch’s tit. Which, most any other day, it would be a mere nuisance but for Saturday it was a major pain in the ass. See, Raven and I was in the Christmas parade last night for the doctors office that I work at.  And it was going to be held on Saturday . . . at night . . . when it was the coldest. Needless to say, we were all freezing our asses off! Raven, on the other hand, got to ride inside the nice warm truck and throw candy out the half way rolled down window while the rest off use walked in the freezing cold. I took a few pictures but then my fingers stop working correctly cause of how cold it was. So I said screw it and put then camera away. I didn’t even bother to bring my SLR cause I knew it was going to be too freaking cold. I used Raven’s little point and shoot.

** EDIT** Will post a proper entry with pictures tomorrow. Too tired tonight.  **END EDIT**

Thanksgiving 2009

Thanksgiving was actually nice. Better then it has been the past three years.

First Mike, Raven and I went to my mother in law’s boyfriend’s house at 1pm. My mother in law fixed dinner over there and we ate and talked to my sister in law (Donielle) and her husband (Eric) (Donielle and Eric are two of the coolest people ever!). After that we left and meet Donielle and Eric down at my father in laws house and had dinner with him and my grandfather in law at about 6pm. I made chocolate covered marshmallows and a crunchy almond pumpkin cheesecake. I love spending time with Donielle and Eric. I always have a good time hanging out and talking to them. It really is a shame that we don’t get to see each other that often.
