See Ya Next Year

*UPDATE* New layout featuring the oh so sexy (and talented) Ewan McGregor! *END UPDATE*

Mike got his Xbox 360 in Wednesday. He loves it and has been fooling around with it and Xbox Live since then.

My dad called me at 12:46pm yesterday to say that him and my step mom would be coming out for a visit. They live 2 1/2 to 3 hour drive away from us and with Mike’s work schedule right now we didn’t think we would be seeing them until early spring 2006. So needless to say it was a very pleasant surprise. Mike got off of work at 2:20 yesterday and My dad and Julia arrived at about 4:30 and took us out to eat and then when we came back home we open each others Christmas gifts. They got Raven one of those Fly Pens with an journal and Spanish attachments. Raven loves it and has been playing with it ever since. They got Mike 2 $50 gift certificates to the mall and I got 3 $50 gift certificates to the mall. So we went to the mall today so I can spend, spend, spend. We will see just have much I actually do spend. See I am kinda neurotic. I see all kinds of things I want and would love to buy and say that I will buy it when I have the money and then when I finally do have the money to spend on myself I just don’t want to let it go. It is really a pain in the ass. I just bought me 6 pairs of Vintage 2 Disney underwear and a pair of Bambi sleep pants which came $28.

Christmas Eve & Christmas Day Pics

OK, so here are the pictures that I took on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

CHRISTMAS EVE

We spent Christmas Eve at my Aunt Lois’s house with the rest of my family. Mike had to work until 6:30pm but came down after work.

This is my cousin’s daughter (so she would be my 2nd cousin) Johnna dresses in her Holiday costume.

Here is the table with all the goodies on it.

Raven getting some goodies to eat.

Aunt Lois, who’s house we were at for Christmas Eve, wearing her annual Garfield Christmas shirt.

My cousin Daniel.

My Nan. Don’t let the innocent smile fool you after I took that pic she threatened to stick my camera up my ass if I tried to take another picture of her *ouch*

My cousin Missy (we call her Sis) and her husband Sonny. Sis loves Matthew McConaughey and for Christmas I got an autograph picture of him that he inscribed “To Missy” and a pillowcase with his picture on it.

Christmas day we all 3 woke up at about 8:30 am and the ripping and flying of Christmas paper began.

Raven with some of her gifts all ready opened.

Raven and her stuffed Littlest Pet Shop Turtle.

Raven and a stuffed little rescued pet puppy.

Raven with all the gifts she got from Santa.

Mike with the gifts I got for him. He didn’t get his Xbox 360 yet but EB Games assured me I would get it by January 6.

London wore out from all the festivities.

There you have it. Pictures from Christmas 2005!

Busy Week Over

This past week has been a very busy and hectic one. But it has come and gone rather quickly and smoothly and now it is time for the clean up. I have pictures from Christmas Eve and Christmas that I will post sometimes tomorrow. I hope everyone had a safe and Merry Christmas.

PETA sucks!

I absolutely hate PETA. I love animals and have had numerous pets though out my 25 years on this earth. I have talked to many PETA activists and none of them seem to have any pets and I find that quite odd. They seem to be more worried about starting controversy then in helping animals. PETA shelters have the worst adoption rate and kill hundreds of animals a year that they can not find homes for. How does throwing red paint on a model that wears fur help animals? The should of taken the money they used to make those dumb comics entitles “Your Mommy Kills Animals” and helped some poor animal that has been abandoned. PETA has even gone as far as saying that seeing eye dogs and just having a pet in general is cruelty to animals. What the fuck? This proves to me that PETA knows shit about animals and does not have the animals interest at heart. Most people treat their pets better then they treat most humans. I would welcome any PETA member to visit my home and see how well my german shepherd lives. Anyone that has owned an animal knows that dogs don’t seem truly happy unless they have a family. Someone to love them, take care of them, play with them and give them a good life. PETA seems to just want them to run around the world, eating out of garbage cans and having no shelter. Do they not think that is cruelty to animals? I think PETA has their heads stuck up their arse. On the other hand if you are looking for a reputable animal group there is no need to look any further. ASPCA is a wonderful charity that actually helps animals unlike PETA. I have been a member of the ASPCA for years and will continue to support them in their efforts. And if you would like to know more about why PETA sucks you can visit PETA KILLS ANIMALS. So to all you PETA supporters, go head and let the bashing of my character and whatever else you can insult me about begin.

Happy Anniversary

4 years ago today Mike and I stood in front of our friends and family and vowed to love, honor and obey in sickness and in health til death do us part. And I think so far we have done a pretty damn good job. This makes a total of 10 years that we have been together. Not 10 years off and on but 10 years straight through. It really just seems like yesterday we started dating. I remember when we first started dating I thought we would brake up within the first month, when the 2nd month rolled around I thought it wouldn’t last but here we are still together after all these years. It’s funny how nobody wanted us to be together. We had many people trying to break us up with lies. Like telling me that Mike was seeing another girl or telling Mike that I was seen at the mall with another guy. It ended up all being false except for me being seen at the mall with another guy. That was true. But what they forgot to mention to Mike was that they other guy was my cousin Daniel who was Mike’s best friend! All the lies did take a toll on our relationship in the beginning but once we figured out that if we both confronted those nasty people who where spreading the lies that their stories couldn’t hold water and they would admit they lied. But why would they do that? They didn’t think I was good enough for Mike so that’s the only reason I can see. But throughout all this, we have remained happily together and have happily stuck through it for 10 years and I hope and pray we happily stay together forever. I love you Mike!

Today is also the anniversary of John Lennon’s death. He was shot and killed just feet away from his New York apartment 25 years ago. Mike and I are huge fans of The Beatles and John Lennon and choose to get married on this date cause of that reason.

A Day in the Life of London

Mike likes these frozen soft pretzels that you just pop into the microwave for 30 seconds and enjoy so we always have them and a little container of cream cheese handy. Well the other night Mike fixed himself one but only ate half of it so he gave the other half to London. Upon receiving the pretzel, gently taking it out of Mike’s hand, London proceeded to toss it up in the air and then once it landed, bounce at it. He did this I know for a good 10 minutes. I kept telling him to eat the pretzel but that just made him more playful. He ran around the living room with the pretzel sticking out of his mouth, occasionally tossing it in the air. He would stand there, with the half eaten pretzel in his mouth, starring at us until we would say “Eat the pretzel London” and then he would repeat the behavior I mentioned above. After about 45 minutes of this, he brought the pretzel over to me. I told him I did not want it, for him to eat it. He tossed the pretzel and it landed by the Christmas tree and London left it there and went into the kitchen to get a drink of water. All that playing must of made him thirsty. When he came back into the living room he went under the desk and fell asleep. He snoozed for a couple of minutes. When he awoke from his short catnap he went over by Mike, who was playing a game on the Xbox. Mike patted the bed beside him and told London to come lay down. London started to get on the bed and then must of remembered the pretzel that he had previously been playing with. He back away from the bed and trotted over to the pretzel which was still laying where it had landed when he tossed it. He picked it up. And with the pretzel sticking half way out of his mouth, he trotted back over to the bed and laid down beside Mike and feel asleep.

Short Entry

Well, Mike and I celebrated our 4 year wedding anniversary this past Friday and Saturday. He went a head and gave me my early Christmas / Anniversary present. It was a 60 GB Ipod. He had the back inscribe “UR the beat of my heart iLove you”. I absolutely love it!
